We're celebrating the incredible ways GRECAA members are getting involved in our community!

Do you volunteer at a local school? Help out at a community center? Or maybe you lend a hand to a neighbor in need? We want to see it!

Submit a photo and a short summary (2-3 sentences) about how you're making a difference in Georgia. Your story could be featured on our website!


Here are some ideas to get you started:

Volunteering with a local youth organization
Supporting a community garden or food bank
Participating in a neighborhood clean-up
Helping out at a local animal shelter
Assisting with a fundraiser for a worthy cause

Spotlight on Volunteers: Jodie R. Makes a Difference with the North Gwinnett High School Marching Band!

 

We are thrilled to recognize Jodie R., a dedicated GRECAA member, for her outstanding volunteer efforts with the North Gwinnett High School Marching Band (NGHSMB)!

 

On Saturday, March 23rd, 2024, Jodie went above and beyond to support the NGHSMB indoor drumline at a competition. She wasn't afraid to lend a helping hand by pushing band equipment and ensuring everything ran smoothly for the student musicians.

Her willingness to volunteer makes a significant difference in the lives of (NGHSMB) students and the success of their band program.
